Delete your account
You can delete your Percent account at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what gets removed.
The fastest way: in the app
- Open Percent on your iPhone
- Tap your profile in the top-right of the Home screen
- Tap Settings
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account
- Confirm the action when prompted
Your account is deleted immediately and you're signed out. There is no undo.
Don't have access to the app?
If you've already uninstalled Percent, lost access to your sign-in method, or can't reach the in-app option for any reason, email nadir.aktan@hotmail.com from the email address linked to your account with the subject "Account deletion request". We'll verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days, usually within 48 hours.
Include in your request:
- Your display name in Percent
- The email address or sign-in provider (Apple / Google) you used
- Approximately when you created the account
What gets deleted
- Your profile (display name, age, profile photo)
- Your rating, rank, and streak
- Your friends list and pending friend requests
- Your game history
- Your daily question responses
- Your authentication record (Apple, Google, or email)
- Your uploaded profile photo from our storage
What may be retained
For legal, security, and integrity reasons, a small amount of data may persist after deletion:
- Aggregated game data. Once a room you played in has finished, the room's anonymized aggregate result (the actual percent of the room that said yes) remains as part of historical question statistics. This data does not identify you.
- Purchase records. If you bought session packs through the App Store, Apple's transaction records remain on Apple's side under their retention policies. We do not store payment details.
- Backup snapshots. Database backups may briefly retain your data before being rotated out, typically within 30 days.
This action is permanent
Once your account is deleted, your rating, rank, friends, and game history are gone forever. We cannot restore them. If you're worried you'll change your mind, sign out instead — you can always come back later.
